Tom Colangelo Named Terriers Volunteer Of The Year
Tom Colangelo was presented the 7th Annual "Ed Heather Award" for Volunteer of the Year on Sunday.
Tom is the Terriers 17u Manager, but also has been responsible for an abundance of planning and execution behind the scenes that helps move the program forward on a day to day basis.
The Terriers baseball program was established in 1924, and played at several different levels until 1983.
Ed Heather was instrumental in the program's resurgence in 2005 and was the inaugural winner of the award in 2006. In recognition of Ed, the award has since been named after him.
The entire Terriers organization is very grateful to Tom for his countless hours of hard work and we sincerely congratulate him as this years Volunteer of the Year.
