Terriers Quartet Shine For Canada In The Dr
Terrier pitchers Dayton Dawe, Travis Seabrooke, Cal Quantrill and Mike Clouthier all recently returned home from a very successful trip to the Dominican Republic with Canada's Junior National Team. The boys had the opportunity to play against several MLB academies while on the island. The tour wrapped up with a game versus a Dominican MLB Prospect team. Cal was extremely efficient in two innings of work as he recorded six straight outs, on three fly outs, two ground outs and a strike out.

Dayton continued right where Cal left off, striking out five of the six hitters he faced. Earlier in the week Clouthier struck out the side in the fifth in a 8-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers Dominican prospects. Seabrooke notched a perfect eighth inning in a 5-2 win over the Twins to open the tour. The Junior National Team will reconvene in August to prepare for the World Championship this fall in Korea.
