Kevin Lucas Commits To Niagara University
Congratulations to the Lucas family on their son Kevin's recent scholarship offer to Niagara University.
The 6'5" RHP will join the NCAA D1 Purple Eagles next fall.
He will be pursuing a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Chemistry.
Kevin has worked very hard in the pursuit of his goal to play college baseball along with acquiring a university degree. Over the past two years he has made tremendous strides on improving all his pitches, while steadily increasing the velocity of his fast ball.
The 160-acre Niagara University campus runs along the top of picturesque Monteagle Ridge overlooking the Niagara River gorge. The Purple Eagles play in the NCAA D1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Early season out of conference play will take the Eagles to North Carolina and Virginia.
Kevin's highlight as a Terrier came in early June at the WNY CanAm tournament where he threw a no hitter.
