Handley Bags Bronze Medal

Congratulations to Toby Handley who came away with a bronze medal playing for Team America in Italy this past week.
Team America was made up of players from nine states, Canada and Holland.
Toby was one of two Canadians who helped defeat the Czech Republic 8-6 in the bronze medal game.
The contest went back and fourth for five innings and was tied 6-6. Team America scored two runs in the sixth to take the lead for good en route to the victory.
Toby was a huge factor once again, coming away with three singles, a sac bunt, two RBIs, a stolen base and two runs scored. He hit .533 for the tournament.
