Marcus Dicenzo's Scholarship Will Take Him To West Alabama
Congratulations to the Dicenzo family on Marcus' recent scholarship offer and commitment to the University of West Alabama.
Marcus is a character player that has done an excellent job at the plate and on the inner diamond over the past two years for the Terriers. His slick defensive abilities and great instincts have allowed him to play second, third and shortstop. This versatility will be a big asset when he embarks on his college career next August.
The UWA Tigers boast a pristine field, complete with lights, a state of the art clubhouse and a new indoor strength training and hitting facility. The Tigers were 15-9 in NCAA Gulf South Coast Conference play last year, before falling to West Florida in the conference tournament.
Marcus is an outstanding athlete, who has garnered awards in high school at basketball, football and baseball, including being named team captain every year. He will be majoring in English at West Alabama.
