Quantrill Top Hser At Ontario Mlb Camps
The annual MLB Scouting Bureau camps wrapped up last weekend in Ontario.

Twenty-three Terrier players worked out at the camps that were held in Toronto and London. Several MLB scouts and Junior National Team Head Coach Greg Hamilton attended the workouts to bear down on the players. After the four camps had concluded, Terriers RHP Cal Quantrill got the nod as the top Ontario arm. He was clocked at 90-92 mph, showed poise, confidence and command of all the pitches in his repertoire. Cal has a scholarship to Stanford University (NCAA D1) and is eligible for the MLB draft this June. Other Terriers that impressed... Luke Tevlin hit the ball with tremendous authority and turned some heads during BP. Outfielders Toby Handley and Jake Osborne impressed with a show of athleticism and excellent rounds of BP. Toby is committed to Stony Brook University (NCAA D1). Jake is committed to the University of Maine (NCAA D1). LHP Travis Seabrooke was 85-90 mph off the mound. Travis has a scholarship to Boston College (NCAA D1) and is eligible for the June draft. For more details on the camps go to www.canadianbaseballnetwork.com
