18U Gold Splits Dh With Stars
After falling 4-3 in game one, the Terriers bounced back with a convincing 12-6 victory over the Academy Stars in game two on Sunday in Hamburg NY. In the Terriers 12-6 win Kevin Lucas got the win, striking out six in his three innings pitched. Nav Cheema and Ty Makarchuk rounded out the days work on the mound. The offense was powered by three triples from Pat Coughlin, Garrett Jewell and Mike Moffatt.

Pat was 2-5 with 2 RBI, while Garrett and Mike were 2-4. Paul Gibson was also 2-4 with 2 RBI. In the game one loss the Terriers got four excellent innings from right hander Hayden Waselynchuk. He allowed just one run in four innings, but came away with a no decision. Andrew Lonsdale, Michael Enns-Ward and Pat Coughlin each went 1-3 at the plate. This week both 16u Terriers team travel to Rome NY for games with the Syracuse Americans and Nationals. 18u Gold will play in Orchard Park NY, while 18u Blue will head to Peterborough.
