Sr Terriers Win Back To Back Tourneys
Submitted By Dan Thompson on Saturday, June 29, 2013
Rochester, NY The SRs Terriers ran their winning streak to twelve straight with a resounding 10-3 victory in the championship final at Rochester University Sunday evening. Trailing 1-0 after one inning of play, the Terriers rallied for three runs in the second and five more in the third to put away the Upstate Chill from Corning NY. Jake Osborne and Marcus Dicenzo lead the charge with two hits, a stolen base and two runs scored each.

In the five run third, TJ Baker, Pat Coughlin, Geoff Seto and Dicenzo all had hits, RBIs and runs scored to make the score 8-1. Right hander Jacob Krieger cruised through 5 innings of work before handing it over to lefties Lee Condon and Jeff Baggaley. Jacob had struck out 5 and allowed just 2 hits. The Terriers added a ninth run in the fifth when Liam Wilson scored on a blast to the gap by Callum Murphy. TJ Baker rounded out the scoring in the sixth on another RBI by Marcus Dicenzo. The SRs leave for a twelve day road trip beginning Wednesday.
