Luke Tevlin's Blast Rocks Titans
Premier Baseball WS, Springfield MO The Terriers rolled over the West Texas Titans with a 20-2 win in game one at the Premier Baseball World Series on Wednesday afternoon. The game ended after five innings on the mercy rule. Leading 1-0 after one inning the Terriers struck for twelve runs in the second. After Nick Dimpfel, Marcus Dicenzo and Cal Murphy scored to make the score 4-0, the Terriers loaded the bases for Luke Tevlin.

Luke didn't waste any time when he laced the first pitch he saw over the left field wall for a grand slam and an 8-0 lead. It was Luke's fifth RBI of the game. The Terriers added four more runs in the twelve run rally with hits and RBIs from Cal Murphy, Luke Wilson, Logan Stewart and Geoff Seto. In the third inning, Tevlin lead off with a walk, advanced on a Joel Brophy single, then both scored on a towering three run homer by Nick Dimpfel to make the score 16-2. Matthew Plut, Geoff Seto and Luke Wilson crossed later in the inning to make the score 19-2. They added their final run in the fourth on a Pat Coughlin RBI double. TJ Baker got credit for the win on the mound. Game two goes at 8pm.
