Terriers Four Run Rally In 6Th Seals Win
Flemington, NJ The 18u Terriers opened the Diamond Nation/Blue Chip Prospects East Coast Championships with a 4-3 victory over Elite Baseball from New Jersey. Trailing 3-0 with one out in the bottom of the sixth Grant Okawa was hit by a pitch to start a four run rally. Luke Tevlin followed with a single to put runners at first and second for Kyle MacDonald. In a favorable 3-1 count Kyle laced a ball over the centerfielder's head for two RBI.

Third baseman Drew Dickerson was next in and he singled up the middle, scoring McDonald to tie the game. Drew advanced to second on the play. Shortstop Mike Moffatt delivered the games decisive blow with a shot to the right center field gap to score Dickerson from second for a 4-3 Terriers lead. Jacob Kreiger- Hughes had handed the ball over to Hayden Waselynchuk in fifth. Jacob had struck out five. Hayden ended up getting credit for the win with two innings of work. Tyler Valiquette came on in the seventh and struck out the side for the save. The 94 team tournament continues tomorrow with a double header at Rider University.
