Alumni Update - Luke Willson
#82, at tight end...

Luke Willson. Not a baseball number or position, that's because Terrier alumni Luke Willson plays for the Seattle Seahawks, who take on the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday's NFC title game. In his time with the Terriers, the 6'5" Willson played first base and possessed tremendous power at the plate. Off the field Luke is genuine, personable and was a pleasure to have in the program. In 2008 Luke also played for Canada's Junior National Team. After high school Willson attended Rice University where he played football for the Owls. He was also courted by the baseball coach at Rice. Luke is such a tremendous multi sport athlete that he was signed by the Toronto Bluejays in 2011. He decided however to finish his college football career at Rice. He has made his way all the way to the NFL after being drafted by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2013 draft. Wilson has played in every game this season and scored his first touchdown versus the San Francisco 49ers this past fall.
