Sr Terriers Sweep Outlaws
The SR Terriers played a three game set with the Ontario Outlaws this past weekend and came away with 6-3, 10-5 and 10-3 victories. Game one on Saturday was a nine inning affair played in Guelph. Hayden Waselynchuk got the start and gave his team six strong innings of work.

Hayden struck out seven, allowing just four hits. Tyler Valiquette threw innings seven and eight, striking out two, while Will Prowse picked up the save. The offense in the 6-3 win was lead by Malcolm Hidalgo who had a double and a homer. Jacob Sims and Kyle MacDonald both had singles and doubles. Luke Tevilin chipped in with a single and was excellent defensively. In game two on Sunday morning lefty Robert Wilson and Will Prowse combined on the mound for the win. Robert struck out three and was relieved by Will in the fourth. Prowse went on to strike out six Outlaw hitters. The Terriers rallied for four runs in the second and fourth with the big blow coming off the bat of Jacob Sims, a towering three run bomb that cleared the right field wall. Here is a look at the balance of the offense: Daito Kojima 2B, 2RBI Grant Okawa 1B, 2B Kyle MacDonald 1B, 1B, 2RBI Luke Tevlin 2B, 1B,1B, RBI Zarley Cina 1B,RBI Nathan Lewko 1B, RBI Austin Gomez 1B Right hander Sam Turcotte started game three Sunday afternoon, and he struck out seven in his four innings of work,allowing two unearned runs. Tyler Valiquette and Nathan Lewko rounded out the pitching in the 10-3 Terrier win. The offense was spread around nicely through the order, highlighted by Nathan Lewko's two RBI triple and solo home run. Tyler Valiquette had four RBI's with a single and a double. Daito Kojima, Grant Okawa, Luke Tevlin and Zarley Cina had two hits while Kyle MacDonald and Austin Gomez each had one.
