Cole Peragine Named All Conference Selection
Former Terrier standout Cole Peragine was named first-team All-America East on Wednesday afternoon.

Peragine earns a spot on the first team for the first time ever. He was a second-team pick as a freshman in 2011. He is hitting .294 with 31 runs scored and 35 RBI. He is top 10 in the conference in on-base percentage (.405), runs scored, RBI, triples (4) and walks (29). He's done his best work in America East play, hitting a conference-best .392 in the 23 league games and sporting a .500 on-base percentage. He has 14 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games this season and has been on a tear over his last 13 games, hitting .455 with 16 RBI. As a Freshman for the Stony Brook Seawolves, Peragine was named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American, earned NCWBA second team freshman All-American honours and was tabbed as the America East Rookie of the Year, helping lead the Seawolves to the College World Series in Omaha. The Seawolves enter conference tournament play beginning Thursday after claiming the regular season championship over Hartford. Stony Brook is looking for it's fifth conference title in the last 10 years.
