Christian Lazar Lands Ncaa Scholarship
Congratulations to Terriers LHP Christian Lazar and his family, as this past week Christian committed to the University of Sioux Falls. The university is located in South Dakota and the Cougars compete at the NCAA Division II level. Christian had an outstanding 2014 campaign for the Terriers.

At one point this past summer he had a perfect game and a one hitter on back to back outings. He also had a nine inning complete game versus Kalamazoo in Nashville at the 18u World Series this past July. Christian can always be relied upon to throw strikes. He keeps hitters off balance with excellent command of three pitches. Off the field, he is very sociable and well versed in almost any topic! Lazar was also the ace of his high school staff for the past three years. He has won the "Cy Young" Award three times and was also named team MVP this past season. He will be studying Sports Management at Sioux Falls. The Cougars play in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), with a schedule that takes them through Colorado, Missouri, California, North Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota. ‎Best of luck to Christian with the balance of his Terriers career and with his preparation for college.
