Robert Wilson To Join Purple Eagles
Terriers lefty Robert Wilson has committed to the Niagara University Purple Eagles.

Niagara play in the NCAA D1 MAAC. (Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Robert has had several outstanding outings with the Terriers over th‎e past couple of years. As a testament to his work ethic , Robert's fast ball has jumped 8 mph during that time. He has developed a slider that buckles left handed hitters knees, in addition to a change up that has also become a quality pitch. ‎During his high school baseball career at St. Marcellinus he came away with the ROPSSAA gold medal in his freshman year and was named the team captain this past season. Robert also competed at the prestigious JR Sunbelt Tournament in Oklahoma last June. Niagara University is a private liberal arts university that was founded in 1856. The campus is located atop the rugged water-carved Niagara River gorge. Thousands of people come to the campus annually to attend intercollegiate sporting events, theater performances and other cultural activities. The Purple Eagles participates in 15 NCAA D1 sports. Robert is an honor roll student and will be studying Biology at NU. Congratulations to Robert and his family on all of his achievements.
