Turcotte Gets Call From Team Canada
Congratulations to Terriers RHP Sam Turcotte who will be joining Canada's Junior National Team in a couple of weeks when they make their way to Orlando Florida. Sam is currently a roster player with the 18u Terriers team managed by Scott Vandevalk. He has been with the program for three years and has worked out at The Baseball Zone since he was seven!. He has developed into one of the countries top right handers who consistently throws in the upper 80s.

Sam is armed with an above average high school slider and his change up induces routine ground ball outs. He is mature beyond his years and is an excellent team mate. The entire Terriers organization is very proud of Sam's accomplishments. ā€ˇTurcotte will fly Air Canada in mid April to Orlando where the National Team will break camp at ESPN Wide World of Sports in the Disney Complex. He will face extended spring training pro teams including the Atlanta Braves, Washington Nationals, Houston Astros and Detriot Tigers. Best of luck Sam!
