Alumnus Billy Martin To Join Terriers
Submitted By Dan Thompson on Monday, July 20, 2015
The Terriers are pleased to announce that alumnus Billy Martin will be coming on board as the program's 18u Pitching Coach beginning in late August. Before being recruited by the Terriers in 2006, Billy was a graduate of the Mississauga Twins organization‎.

He won a National Championship with the Twins and was also a member of the Terriers World Series championship team in 2006. He won Rookie of the Year that season then went on to capture the Pitcher of the Year‎ award the following season. In 2008 Martin's hard work resulted in a scholarship to Canisius College where he majored and graduated with a Physical and Health Education degree. The Griffs won the MAAC Conference in 2013 and went on to compete in the NCAA D1 tournament. During the summer in his college years Billy pitched for the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs in the NYCBL and the Medicine Hat Mavericks in the WMBL. He was the Mavericks Pitcher of the Year in 2013. Over the past two years Billy has been the pitching coach for Badlands Baseball Academy in Oyen Alberta. Welcome home Billy!
