Eleven hitters came to the plate and seven scored in the bottom of the 5th as the Terriers dropped the RBI Redwings 9-1 mercy in the first round of bracket play at the Great Lakes Select tournament. Team Canada hurler Sam Turcotte gave up a single run early in the game and then registered 3 2/3 scoreless innings for the win. Elliott Curtis had 2 hits, 2 runs, 2RBIs, and 2 steals. Jake Foden matched that output with 2 hits, 2 runs, 1 RBI, and 2 steals.
