Seniors Win Great Lakes Super Select
Terriers won it all in Erie, PA with an impressive 7-3 win over Full Circuit baseball.
Jake Foden took the mound in the championship game, delivering 5 courageous innings, giving up just 3 hits, and twice shutting down a bases loaded rally. He got all the run support he needed in a 6 - run 3rd when Grant Okawa and Joe Tevlin both banged out 2-run hits. Elliott Curtis and Zarley Cina rounded out the run production, with Drew Dickerson adding a 5th inning RBI.
Kyle Scobel was clutch coming into relief for the last six outs of the championship.
Okawa, Curtis, and Dickerson finished 2-for-3 on the day. The Terriers completed the tournament with a perfect 6-0 record. Standing now as Pastime Great Lakes champions is a nice way to finish off an outstanding season. Good luck to all the players heading off to college in the fall.
