Rhp Ben Abram Shines In T12 Debut
Terriers 6'6" RHP Ben Abram got credit for the win today at Rogers Centre as his Futures Team defeated Atlantic 7-2. The Futures staff spread the work load around on day one with no one getting more than two innings of work.
In his two innings ,Ben was very impressive, striking out four of the six hitters he faced. He threw just 18 pitches, 13 for strikes.
Ontario Green faces Ontario Black in the night cap.
Three more Terriers will see action in that game as Elliott Curtis will patrol the infield for Black while catcher Joe Tevlin and RHP Sam Turcotte will suit up for Green.
During Scout Day, according to PBR, Joe unleashed a 1.90 pop time, best on Ontario Green. He also hit two homers during batting practice.
