Sam Turcotte Shines At Perfect Game In Fl
Terriers RHP Sam Turcotte suited up for the Body Armour Titans (NY) this past week at the Perfect Game World Wood Bat Championship. It is their marquee event and was held Oct 22-26 at the Roger Dean Complex in Jupiter FL. 2,254 players participated.
The Titans were in a very tough pool and Sam drew Team Evoshield, the tournament's eventual runner up. Evoshield recruit nationally and their roster is laced with NCAA D1 commits.
The game ended in a 0-0 tie.
Sam was spectacular, carving through the stacked lineup, striking out eight while allowing just two hits in a complete game. Sam's 0.00 ERA at this event is very impressive, especially against one of the tournament's top clubs.
Sam is also currently a roster player with Canada's Junior National Team and has committed to Stony Brook University.
