2016 College Roundup.... Week 1
The 2016 College Baseball season is underway! In the coming weeks we will highlight Terrier alumni activities. * Outfielder Bruce Yari is off to a torrid pace at the plate for the UBC Thunderbirds. Bruce took center stage this past weekend in an 8-2 win over the San Bernardino Coyotes. Yari notched three hits, including a two run homer. UBC is already two weeks into their 2016 campaign. Bruce is hitting.

In the opener, lead off hitter Toby Handley scored three runs, had a hit a‎nd walked four times in an 11-6 win. Toby added four more hits on the weekend to start the season off with a. 500 avg (5-10). * The Niagara University Purple Eagles opened‎ the season 1-2 at Vero Beach FL. Catcher Joel Brophy went 3-8 (.375) with two homers and four RBI. * The past week, Kyle Macdonald had a HR and a double for Crowder College in their win against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. Kyle also has a stolen base under his belt. * Catcher Jacob Sims led the charge for the Roane State Raiders versus Tennessee rivals Walter State. ‎In 8-5 and 4-2 victories, Jake was 1-3 with a three run HR and 2-4 with two RBI.
