Right Hander Matt Correia Commits To Usf
SR Terrier Matt Correia will be headed to South Dakota this fall to continue his post secondary education and his college baseball career at the University of Sioux Falls. ‎Matt committed to the Cougars baseball program this past week. Congratulations to the Correia family. Matt has has been training at The Baseball Zone since he was 11 years old and has been a loyal Terrier for the fast four years.

He is armed with an 85 MPH fast ball that is complimented by an advanced change up. The highlight of Matt's Terrier career came on the mound in the fall of 2014 when he fired an outstanding one hitter versus the Missouri Tigers in Indiana. He is a great team mate and considered to be a very mature young man amongst the Terrier coaching staff. The Cougars compete in the NCAA DII NSIC Conference and are off to a great 6-2 start so far this season. Their schedule takes them through Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, California, Minnesota and Nebraska. The University of Sioux Falls is home to 1,419 students and offers 40 undergraduate programs, 9 pre- professional programs and several graduate programs. Matt will be studying Business Administration at USF.
