*Alumni Catcher Jake Sims was named the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA) Hitter of the Week. Jake was 8-12 with 5 runs scored, 2 home runs and 11 RBI. * Bruce Yari continues to lead the UBC Thunderbirds offensively. Bruce is hitting. 388 after 37 games. He has 50 hits, 26 RBI and 3 round trippers. The TBirds are 25-12. * Kyle MacDonald is having an outstanding RS Freshman year for Crowder College.

After 34 games he has a. 308 average including 36 hits, 32 RBI and has smacked 5 homers. The Rough Riders are 21-16. * In NCAA D1 action, Terrier alumni went head to head on Long Island this past weekend. Toby Handley's Stony Brook Seawolves faced off against‎ Pat Coughlin and Jake Osborne's Maine Black Bears. The Seawolves came away with the Saturday sweep with 11-0 and 2-1 victories. All three Terriers were on the field in game two. * The NU Purple Eagles are off to their best MAAC Conference start (5-1) in over a decade with a weekend sweep of St. Peters. Catcher Joel Brophy scored 3 runs and had 2 RBI in game one then team mate Geoff Seto followed that up with 2 runs, 2 hits and an RBI in the game two win.
