Terriers Slug Their Way Into The Buckeye Elite Playoffs
The strong pitching performances by Alex Wall, Sam Turcotte and Jack Anderson allows The Terriers to advance to the Gold elimination round tomorrow in the Buckeye Elite tournament in Columbus, Ohio. Game 1 was tight fought with the Terriers falling 4-1. Game 2 was another close game with extra innings, highlighted by Sam Turcotte's once again dominating performance with 14 Ks and 1 BB complete game.

Previous outings for Turcotte were 10 K and 11 K respectively. Game 3, with Jack Anderson on the mound was a 15- 3 mercy. Elliott Curtis went 3 for 3 with a double and 2 singles, Jacob Martins had a double and a single, and Ethan Jodouin, Ryan Giberson, Dreyden Sloat & Willie Hotta all contributed to the winning cause with doubles of their own. Gold elimination competition ultimately ends at Ohio State University on Sunday afternoon.
