18U Terriers Romp In Spring Training Opener

Viera, FL - The offense came early and often as the 18U Terriers‎ rang up 12 hits in a 19- 4 victory over Orlando Baseball. The Terriers scored ‎five in the first, five in the second, two in the third, five in the fourth and two in the fifth in this game that would end with the mercy rule. Lefty Jack Anderson struck out six in his three innings of work. Andre Campbell came on to pitch the final two innings‎.

Ryan O'halloran led the outburst with three hits and two RBI. Josh Simpson (3 RBI) and Owen Maize (RBI) each had two hits. Jacob Martins (RBI), Nolan Gallo (RBI), Jeremie Veilleux (2 RBI) and Jack Omstead (2 RBI) all chipped in with hits. Games and practices continue till next Wednesday.
