17U Terriers Run Record To 4-0 In Florida
Submitted By Dan Thompson on Sunday, March 12, 2017
Viera, FL - The 17U Terriers had a match up with Drummondville Quebec Sunday morning at Spring Training in Florida. They remain unbeaten, coming away with a 7-4 victory. The game was never in doubt as Sebastian Santos and Andrew Giorno split duties on the mound, combining for five strikeouts and inducing several routine ground ball outs for the winners. The Terriers pounded out nine hits, led by red hot Sawan Bhatnagar ‎who had three.

Sawan also scored two runs and had an RBI. Jordan Rapier smacked a triple and Matt Kemp had a double for Coach Johnston's offense that also got singles from Jamal Armstrong, George Tsiflikiotis, Christian Forgione and Zach Bayfield. The 17s will attempt to stretch their streak to five when they play locals CRFS Baseball on Monday‎.
