College Round Up.....Week 5
The Binghamton University Bearcats opened their America East conference play this past weekend against University of Massachusetts Lowell. Game one was a titanic pitching duel until the eighth inning heroics of Luke Tevlin who hit a clutch two out home run for a 1-0 Bearcats lead. That would be the game's only run. Binghamton is playing. 667 baseball and will take on Penn State tomorrow.
TJ Baker went 3-5 with three RBI in St.
Bonaventure's 17-4 victory over Davidson this past week. He continued to swing a hot bat into the weekend in the Bonnies series with Saint Louis. Sunday's game was a 9-4 loss but TJ went 2-2 with two walks, two RBI and a run scored.
Jake Foden has the Allegany College of Maryland nationally ranked with a record of 11-0. Jake is batting .449 and has an OBP of .525
Zarley Cina is having a great year at the plate for Niagara County Community College. Zarley is hitting. 345 and has 20 RBI.
Kyle MacDonald has now smashed six homers for the Crowder College Roughriders. He has 26 RBI and a .321 average.
