Busy Fall Program Ahead For Sr Terriers
Although there is still a lot of ball to be played between now and the end of July, the Terriers players and coaches can look forward to what will be a very extensive and exciting 2017 Fall Program.
After meandering their way through Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee this summer, the Terriers will wrap up the season at the PBLO playoff championship in Windsor (July 28-30). Current Terriers that are headed off to college will say their goodbyes and one week later the next cycle will begin.
Here is what it looks like..,..
For the third consecutive year the 18U Terriers will open the fall schedule at the Tournament of Champions Showcase in Western NY. This tournament is invite only and is limited to 20 teams. The goal for the organizers is to showcase the top teams in the northeast region for college and pro scouts. Last year the Terriers won this event.
The SRs first home game in August will be the annual tilt with the University of Toronto Blues followed by a week in New Jersey at Diamond Nation, competing in the 18U College Elite Showcase Wood Bat Tournament.
After several games throughout September versus both college and travel teams, the Terriers head south to Raleigh North Carolina for what will be the highlight of the fall, a series of games culminating at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, home of the Triple A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.
The fall season will close out in mid October when Quebec visits Kings College for a four game series.
