Terriers Split Victoria Day Dh With London
The 15U Terriers played host to the London Badgers at Kings College on Victoria Day for a scheduled PBLO double header. In game one the Terriers struck for seven runs in the bottom of the first and five more in the bottom of the fourth which sent them on to a 12-2 victory. The first three hitters that the Terriers sent to the plate reached base. Jackson Evans lead off with a walk, went to second on Kevin McQuinn's single, then both advanced on a single belted by Daniel Freeman.

Clean up hitter John Filice was next in and he delivered a two RBI double down the left field line for the Terriers first two runs. The other big blow in the inning came off the bat of Jakob Cellupica who notched a three RBI bases clearing triple. Evan Farrell, Markus Stepanoff and Liam Carey scored on Jakob's knock that rolled to the fence in left center field. In the bottom of the fourth back to back triples by Kevin McQuinn and Daniel Freeman with runners on base sealed the Badgers fate. Cameron Pollard, Evan Farrell and Ethan Magloughlin all had hits and RBIs in this five inning game that ended with the mercy rule. Ben Baker hurled the first three innings then was relieved by Connor Brearley who tossed the fourth and fifth. London turned the tables with a 4-3 win in game two.
