Terrier Alumni Rack Up College Honors
Congratulations to Zarley Cina and Toby Handley who were honored with college baseball awards over this past week. Zarley Cina was named All- Region for the NCCC Thunderwolves. Zarley lead NCCC with 65 hits this season. He had 16 doubles and two homers, while notching a. 389 batting average, 48 RBIs and 39 runs scored. Zarley is transferring to East Stroudsburg University on scholarship to complete his college academic and baseball career.

Further congratulations to Zarley's Head Coach Matt Clingersmith who lead the Thunderwolves to a 43-8 season on route to the region championship. They are ranked second in the nation. Matt is a friend to the Terriers program, having hosted our 18u team on several occasions in the fall. Stony Brook Seawolves center fielder Toby Handley was named the America East Conference Player of the Week last week. Handley lead the Seawolves to a DH sweep over the Binghamton Bearcats in NCAA D1 action. Toby hit. 500 with a 1.375 slugging percentage with a home run and two triples. He also drove in three runs and scored four times. His second triple of the day broke the Stony Brook record for career triples. Handley lead the Seawolves with a. 346 season average and was also number one in hits, runs, doubles, triples 0BP and SLG%. ‎Toby was drafted by the Houston Astros last June but returned to Stony Brook for his SR year.
