The Terriers organization wish alumni Tanner Nivins a speedy recovery from health issues he has been dealing with over the past several months (read article). Tanner had an outstanding career with the Terriers from 2006 till 2009.

Blessed with tremendous speed, he was a great outfielder and a menace on the base paths. He also had plus power at the plate and is the Terriers all time home run leader to this day. Tanner earned a scholarship to Stony Brook University and was a roster player in 2012 when the Seawolves advanced to the College World Series. At the 2008 Canada Cup National Championship in Medicine Hat Alberta, Tanner was named the tournament's top hitter and he also won tournament MVP, leading Ontario to the gold medal. He also played for Canada's Junior National Team. In recent years Tanner has been a standout with the Kitchener Panthers of the IBL. We wish Tanner all the best and hope he can get back on the diamond soon. Article: Panther MVP Determined to Get Back onto the Field
