Matt Ward And Jamal Armstrong Garner Perfect Game Honours

The Terriers competed at the WWBA Perfect Game World Championship this past month at the Lee County Player Development Complex in Fort Myers, FL. This is the biggest annual event for High School Baseball Underclassmen.‎ Two- hundred plus teams compete for the crown which is scouted by every MLB team and hundreds of recruiters from all levels of college baseball. Congratulations to Terriers Matt Ward and Jamal Armstrong who were named to the All Tournament Hitters Team list.

Matt hit .444, had an OBP of .600 and his OPS was 1.044 He also had two RBI and a stolen base. Jamal had a .400 average, a .455 OBP and his OPS was.955 ‎He had three singles and a double. The Elite Squad from Boyton Beach Florida won the event‎ with a 5-2 victory over Canes Baseball Black in the championship game.
