Athletic Dylan Whittaker Picks Ubc
Submitted By Dan Thompson on Friday, October 27, 2017
Congratulations to the Whittaker family on their son Dylan's recent commitment to continue his post secondary education and baseball career at UBC. Dylan is a outstanding athlete who also excels in the classroom.

He has been a member of the honour roll every year since he began high school. As a RHP Dylan possesses an 85 MPH fastball that is complimented by a devastating plus curve. On the Terriers recent trip to North Carolina he fired two shut-out innings versus NCAA D1 NC Central University. He can also play in the middle of the diamond defensively with quick feet and excellent glove skills.‎ The overall versatility in his game and his grades made Dylan a high profile recruit for the UBC coaching staff. This past year Dylan competed at T12 and the prestigious JR Sunbelt Tournament in Oklahoma. He has also represented his province twice with the Ontario Youth Team. The UBC Thunderbirds have tremendous facilities and a very dynamic NAIA schedule that take them through Oregon, California and Idaho. Last year they compiled a very impressive 32-16 record. The entire Terriers organization wishes Dylan continued success on and off the field.
