Catcher Dylan Johnson Commits To Adrian
Terriers 18U catcher Dylan Johnson has committed to continue his post secondary education and baseball career at Adrian College in Michigan. Congratulations to the entire Johnson family on‎ this recent achievement by Dylan. As team captain at St. Michaels College Dylan has led his team to three‎ conference championships. He is also an honor roll student and will be studying Business and Economics at Adrian.

Over the past two ‎years with the Terriers Dylan has shown leadership, outstanding versatility and athleticism. He has a very fast arm from behind the plate, that keeps opposing runners at bay on the bases. He also does an excellent job managing the pitching staff. At the plate, Dylan grinds out at bats and uses the whole field to hit, making him very difficult to defend against. The Adrian College Bulldogs compete in the NCAA's Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. In 2017 Adrian's offense was one of the most productive nationally. The Bulldogs were seventh in triples (23), eighth in batting average (.343), hits (543),on base percentage (.425), sac flies (31), tenth in runs scored‎ (370) and thirty-fourth in stolen bases (83). The Bulldog's defense rated sixth with 48 double plays and fifteenth with a .970 fielding percentage.
