* In a wild 24-12 game last week DH Shane Clarke smashed a three run homer for the Missouri Valley Vikings. Shane has three homers and nine RBI for the 12-16 Vikings‎. * Catcher Joe Tevlin was swinging a hot bat for the NU Purple Eagles this past weekend in Connecticut. Niagara took two out of three from Fairfield University. Joe was 2-5 with two RBI, a walk and a run scored in a 13-8 win, then went 1-3 with a run scored in a 6-5 victory. * In 19 games Jake Sims of the St.

Leo Lions has a .279 average with ‎17 hits including four homers. Jake has 13 RBI. The powerhouse NCAA D2 Lions are 26-5 in 2018. * In America East NCAA D1 Conference play, Luke Tevlin scored the winning run in the BU Bearcats 5-3 win over UMBC Saturday. Luke was 1-3. * Catcher Matt Vollmer was 1-3 with an RBI in a University of St. Francis 12-5 victory over Goshen College. * ‎Elliott Curtis continues to lead the Columbia State Chargers in hits (42), average (.393) and SLG% (.701).
