Evan Elliott Gets The Call From Team Canada
Submitted By Dan Thompson on Monday, April 16, 2018
Terriers RHP Evan Elliott will join Canada's Junior National Team extended spring camp in West Palm Beach, Florida later this week. Congratulations to Evan and his family on this important step in Evan's baseball career. Evan has been a member of the Terriers program for over three years and has developed into an imposing presence on the mound. He is armed with a 90+ mph fast ball, change-up and a plus curve.

During the Terriers' recent March Break trip to Florida, Evan impressed several college recruiters against the older competition. He has worked very hard at his craft and the call from JNT Head Coach Greg Hamilton was well deserved. The Team Canada camp will take place at FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches from April 19-28. It is the new spring training home of the Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros. The Junior Nats will play a six game pro schedule versus extended spring training squads from the Nationals and Astros organizations. They will also travel to Fort Myers to face a prospect club from the Minnesota Twins organization. The entire Terriers organization wishes Evan the best of luck with Canada's Junior National Team.
