In Akron Ohio at the Top Gun Classic, the 17U Terriers rallied for four runs in the top of the fifth breaking a 3-3 tie and went on to defeat the Triple Crown Royals 7-3.

The Terriers plated three runs in the top of the first when AJ Karosas, Ethan Edwards and Brayden Heleno all scored. AJ and Heleno had walked and Edwards had laced a single to right. The Royal pitcher did not come out for the second inning. Owen MacNeil was the Terrier starter on this day and was excellent, striking out five and walking just one. He handed the ball off to Michael Stremlaw who fired two innings of shut out ball and rounded out the game. Michael pitched cleanly out of two bases loaded jams. He struck out three. After another Royal pitching change, Dante Wright and Ethan Edwards followed with walks. Dante would later score on an RBI single by Heleno and Edwards crossed on a RBI sac fly by DH Jacob ‎Mahoney. Heleno rounded out the four run rally on a well executed double steal with team mate Zach Marriott.‎ Make the final 7- 4 Terriers.
