It was a great day for the Terriers in the state of Ohio. In Cincinnati at the Cincy Flames Summer Classic the 16U Terriers moved their record to 2-0 with a well played 6-1 victory over the Sterling Heights Nationals. ‎Ben Baker led the offense going 3-4 at the plate.

Elijha Hammill, Connor O'Halloran and Jack Iannuzzi all added two hits each with 2-4 days. Next up for the Terriers is the host Cincy Flames. In Akron Ohio at the Top Gun Classic the 18U Terriers‎ defeated the T-3 Rays by an 11-0 mercy. Lefty Pierce Montgomery hurled five complete and picked up the win. He had five strike outs. Everyone in the lineup had at least one hit. The 18s also won their night cap by a 5-2 score over Stallions Baseball. Ben Abram went the distance on the mound. The 17U Terriers ‎were in the win column too on this day. They came away with a 7-0 victory over the Diamond Boys. In the top of the second Zach Marriott smacked a double to right, then scored on Jacob Mahoney's RBI single up the middle to make the score 1-0. The Terriers put the game away in the third with a six run outburst. The big blows came off the bats of Dante Wright and Jamal Armstrong. Dante launched a huge double to right center field scoring AJ Karosas who had walked earlier in the frame. Jamal's two RBI double scored Ethan Edwards and Zach Marriott who were both hit by pitch in their at bats. Sam Worthen picked up the shut-out win on the mound. Sam struck out five and did not allow a hit. Play-offs begin on Saturday in both tournaments.
