Terriers Win Barn Burner To Advance To Championship Final
The SR Terriers went toe to toe with the Cincinnati Future Stars on Saturday afternoon in Nashville.

It was a wild game game in which the Terriers prevailed 8-4. The Future Stars came out swinging with three runs on four hits in the top of the first off Terrier starter Andrew Giorno. The Terriers offense came right back in their half of the inning with four hits of their own, cashing four runs. Connor Humphrey got the four run rally started when he nailed a lead off single to the gap in left center field. DJ Johnson and Ryan O'Halloran followed with singles up the middle to load the bases for Nicholas Parsons who launched a three RBI triple to the gap in right center. Parsons crossed on the next pitch, a Max Von Gemmingen RBI ground out. 4-3 Terriers. Cincinnati came right back and tied the game in the top of the second, but it was short lived after Ryan O'Halloran delivered an RBI single up the middle scoring Humphrey who had hit a laser beam single earlier in the inning. Andrew Giorno continued to battle on the mound through innings three and four holding the Terrier lead at 5-4 until Connor Humphrey smashed a clutch two out three RBI triple into the right field corner to give the Terriers an 8-4 lead. Sebastian Santos relieved Giorno with two out in the fifth and would record the final seven outs. ‎The Terriers will go for their second consecutive tournament championship on Sunday morning at 9:00am CT.
