College Round Up.. By The Numbers

* RHP Sam Turcotte is 3-0 for the Stony Brook Seawolves. He has 26 strike outs and also has 3 saves. The Seawolves are 20-11 and currently on top in the America East Conference. Sam picked up a big save this past weekend in a 7-6 Stony Brook win over conference rival Binghamton.

* ‎The Oklahoma Sooners are 25-11 and RHP Ben Abram leads the Sooners on the mound with a perfect 6-0 record. Ben's ERA is 2.35. He has walked just seven hitters. Ben has 43 Ks and opponents are hitting a measly. 214


* Lakeland CC Lakers 3B Max Von Gemmingen has an impressive. 314/.462/.392 slash line through 32 games. Max is a Freshman. 


* ‎Shane Clark has 14 hits, 3 homers and a. 347 SLG% for Missouri Valley College. 


* SR Catcher Matt ‎Vollmer is hitting. 314 for the St. Francis University Cougars. Matt has played in 17 games this season. 


* LHP Jack Anderson has an outstanding 3.35 ERA for the Hofstra Pride. He has appeared in 10 games, has 11 Ks and opponents are hitting just .253 off Jack.


* NU Purple Eagles catcher Joe Tevlin's slash line is. 236/ .306/.333  Joe has been an excellent back stop for the Eagles with a. 968 FLD% and 164 put outs. 


* LHP Christian Lazar is 3-1 with a sparkling 3.12 ERA for the Sioux Falls Cougars. Christian has struck out 29 and walked only five in 17 IP.


* University of Kentucky Wildcats JR infielder Elliott Curtis is hitting .297

He has 6 RBI. The Wildcats are 18-16.


* Freshman infielder Ryan O'Halloran has a .338 average, 16 RBI and a .463 SLG%. The Pirates are 26-8-1.


* Infielder Drew Dickerson has been flashing the leather for the Youngstown State University Penguins. His FLD% is .966. Drew is hitting .257 and has 12 RBI


* The Arkansas State Red Wolves are 21-13 and being lead by 1B Kyle MacDonald. Kyle has 32 hits along with 28 RBI. His SLG% is .455. Kyle has also been solid at 1B, credited with 222 put outs and a .996  FLD%. The Red Wolves are 8-4 in Sunbelt Conference play.


* Freshman RHP Evan Harrison got the‎ honor of being the opening day starter for the Jamestown College Jayhawks. To date, Evan leads the Jayhawks in innings pitched and has struck out 12.


* ‎The Adrian College Bulldogs are 20-4. Freshman RHP Andrew Giorno has chipped in with 6.1 innings and has a 2.84 ERA. He has struck out 5.


* Zarley Cina has a .460 SLG% and is hitting .240 for the East Stoudsburg Warriors. 

The Warriors are 24-12. Zarley has a perfect 1.000 FLD% in the outfield. 


There is one month left in the college baseball season. Good luck the rest of the way to all Terrier alumni.
