Terriers College Baseball Roundup Week 7
Ontario Terriers alumni had some big hits and strong pitching performances for their college teams last week.

O'Halloran deals against Dayton
Southpaw Connor O'Halloran struck out 13 over eight innings to help the Michigan Wolverines to a 2-1 Game 1 win over Dayton. He allowed three hits and one run to improve to 2-2 on the season.

Giorno, Johnson helps Adrian go 3-0
Andrew Giorno and Dylan Johnson played key roles in Adrian College's three wins last week.

Giorno made two appearances and picked up a win. In a 15-8 victory over Siena Heights, Giorno tossed two scoreless innings, giving up a hit and a walk to earn the win. Later in the week he threw 2/3 of an inning in a 5-4 win over Heidelberg. He surrendered two hits, an unearned run, and a walk.

Johnson collected three hits, a walk, two RBIs, and a pair of stolen bases in the three games.

MacNeil goes five strong
The University of Charleston received five innings of one run baseball from Owen MacNeil in a 10-1 win over Alderson Broaddus. He scattered three hits, a walk, and struck out six.

Four hits in six games for Von Gemmingen
Max Von Gemmingen played in six games for Spring Arbor and had four hits, two walks, five RBIs, and was hit by a pitch. The Cougars finished 4-2 on the week.

O'Halloran sparks Bulldogs offence
Five games were on the schedule for the Butler Bulldogs and Ryan O'Halloran played in all of them. He accumulated six hits, a walk, three RBIs, and a hit by pitch. Next up for the Bulldogs is a Tuesday showdown at No. 7 Tennessee.

Gomm goes off for Parkland
Austin Gomm had five hits, walked six times, drove in two and stole a base as the Parkland Cobras went 3-3. He put together a 2-for-4 game with a walk and two RBIs in an 8-7 victory over Central Illinois.

Karosas with 5 knocks for Erie
Sophomore AJ Karosas went 5-for-20 with a walk, three RBIs, and two stolen bases in six games for Erie Community College. The Kats were 3-3 on the week and now stand at 11-6 on the season.

Two games, two appearances for Carey
Right hander Liam Carey made his way into both games for Muskingum University. He was handed the loss in a 10-9 decision against Oberlin. Despite the loss, Carey was held his own, going three innings and allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits. He walked one in the outing. He was back on the mound in the Muskies next contest against Penn State-Behrend. He worked three innings and surrendered three unearned runs on two hits to pick up the win. He walked three and struck out two. 

Ellis K's six
Campbell Ellis allowed one run on one hit over 4 1/3 innings as the VCU Rams downed Quinnipiac 14-4 in Game 2 of their series. He struck out six of the 13 outs he recorded.

Busy week for Forgione, St. Lawrence
St. Lawrence University continued their Florida road trip with eight games split between Davenport and Audburndale. Cristian Forgione amassed five hits, six walks, five RBIs, and was hit by a pitch in seven games. The Saints went 5-3.

Marriott continues to mash
Zack Marriott keeps hitting for Hendrix College. In five games last week he pounded out 10 hits, including a 3-for-6 game with a solo home run, a three-run home run, six RBIs, and two stolen bases in a 12-0 win over Sewanee. On top of the hits, he also walked three times, drove in eight, and stole three bases. Hendrix won all five games to move to 20-2 on the year.

Cane strokes first college hit
Infielder Ethan Cane walked in his college debut, then tripled in his second game for his first collegiate hit in Jefferson College's 6-5 loss to Onondaga. In the final game of the week, he had a hit and drove in his first run in an 11-6 loss to Tompkins Cortland.

Russell does it all for Alderson Broaddus
Julian Russell can hit, and Julian Russell can pitch. The freshman chipped in two hits and a RBI and appeared in two games on the mound for the Battlers. He tossed a scoreless inning with two walks and a strikeout in a 16-10 loss to West Virginia State.

Ward with three hits
Niagara's Matt Ward went 3-for-5 in a 10-6 Game 3 loss to George Mason.

Brown goes 5 1/3
Matt Brown conceded five runs (two earned) on five hits over 5 1/3 innings as the Frontier Bobcats lost to Wabash Valley 6-0. He walked five and struck out two.

Mahoney with three hits in DH
During Lake Michigan's doubleheader sweep of Davenport Jacob Mahoney chipped in three hits and a pair of RBIs.

Offman with scoreless appearance
Tyler Offman tossed a scoreless inning, walked one and struck out one in New York University's 24-5 thumping of Lehman College.

Giberson spins scoreless inning
During a game that saw 18 runs scored, Ryan Giberson threw a scoreless inning. The Belmont Abbey hurler didn't allow a hit or a walk in the appearance during his team's 10-8 win over Queens.

Job has hit for Hilbert
Brandon Job of the Hilbert College Hawks had a hit in a 7-2 loss to Geneva College.
