The Canadian Premier Baseball League regular season is officially underway for all Terriers
teams.Let’s take a look at who stood out for each this past week.

17U – LHP Russell Kwinter

Russell Kwinter had arguably the best performance of any player in the CPBL. The southpaw threw a seven inning no-hitter to lead his team to a 4-0 victory over the Ontario Nationals. Kwinter issued two walks and struck out 16.

16U – INF Max Postic

Max Postic posted back-to-back three-hit games as the 16U Terriers split a pair with the Ontario Royals on Sunday. In a 17-4 loss, Postic went 3-for-3 with a double. He followed it up by going 3-for-3 with four RBI and a hit by pitch in a 12-4 win. He also walked in a loss to the Ontario Nationals on Saturday.

15U – RHP/INF Zac Karanopoulos

Zack Karanopoulos did a little bit of everything to help his team to three wins. He hit a double, drove in a run and stole a base in a midweek win against the Ontario Royals. Next up was a pair of wins over the Ontario Nationals. He had a hit, a walk and two RBI in a 5-4 victory. The back half of the doubleheader saw him take the mound and throw a complete game, seven innings as the Terriers took home a 3-2 win. The right-hander allowed a pair of unearned runs on three hits. He walked two and struck out two.

14U – RHP/INF Jovin Singh

Much like Karanopoulos, Jovin Singh made an impact on the mound and in the batter’s box. Singh had a hit, a walk and three stolen bases as the 14Us tied the Ontario Blue Jays 7-7. The speedy Singh would tie the game in the final inning by stealing home. He would get the start in Game 2, an 8-1 win, and deliver four innings. The right-hander surrendered one run on two hits and a walk, while striking out five.

14U Dev – INF Sam Nanavati

Sam Nanavati displayed his bat-to-ball skills, as well as his speed for the developmental team. Over four games against the Windsor Selects, he had four hits, a RBI, two hit by pitches and two stolen bases. The Terriers took the series 3-1.
