 The Terriers organization closed out the final weekend in May with several stellar performances on the field. Let’s see who stood out the most this past week.

17U – RHP/INF Jayden Pavao

Jayden Pavao used both his bat and his right arm to impact the Terriers lineup over the course of four games. Pavao had a pair of hits and walked five times at the plate. On the mound, he threw five innings and allowed two runs on two hits and two walks in a 4-2 loss to Académie Baseball Canada. Five of the fifteen outs he recorded came via the strikeout.

 16U – INF Steven Trkulja

 For the second week in a row, Steven Trkulja is the 16Us top player. In two games, he collected five hits, drove in eight and stole a base. He went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and five RBI in a 9-8 loss to Team Ontario.

 15U – RHP/INF Stiaan Henning

 Stiaan Henning’s best performance came in a 1-0 win over the Toronto Mets when he threw five scoreless innings. The right-hander gave up two hits, walked three and struck out six on 76 pitches. He then drove in two and stole a base in an 8-3 Game 2 victory.

 14U – RHP/OF Lincoln Swartz

 Lincoln Swartz chipped in three hits, a RBI and two stolen bases as the 15U Terriers took 3-of-4 from the Titans Baseball Club. Swartz also hopped on the mound in Game 4, tossing 2.1 innings.

 14U Minor – RHP Mark Palasti

 Right-handed pitcher Mark Palasti worked six innings, surrendering an unearned run on eight hits in a 2-1 loss to the Ontario Nationals. He walked two and struck out four.
