In the fall of 2024, he officially became the 16u head coach for the 2025 season. Ian believes good pitching and defence win games (and will keep you in many more), but he has a lot of fun watching our bats go on heaters, too!

- In my playing career, he was a 4 times 2nd team All-Star. I was part of 3 championships in my 12 years.
- As a coach, Mike has coached every age group from Tball to u17, mainly at the highest level of competition.
- Mike has a passion for teaching kids how to play the game the right way. How to overcome adversity. How to play the game as if they were playing chess and not checkers.
- Trying to teach his players about all the lessons life throws at you and how it all applies during competition between the lines. Forever preach to my players about prioritizing Family, Religion (if they believe in any), School and Baseball in that order, hopefully making them better kids off the field than when I came into their lives.
- One of the biggest compliments Mike feels is when the old players he has coached still call him by the name of Coach and still communicate with Mike about their lives, sometimes asking for advice on different matters.

Coach Kevin grew up in Sarnia, Ontario and was part of the Sarnia Braves Baseball Association until the age of 16. He then switched associations and played for the Lower Great Lakes Baseball Academy Courtright Seahawks who played out of the Connie Mack league in Michigan. Following his time with the Seahawks, he was offered a scholarship at Rend Lake College in Illinois where he was an Academic All-American and pitcher for the team that was one win away from making it to the Junior College World Series.
Following his playing career, he joined the Milton Mets where he became involved in coaching on the field and volunteered as Rep Director. As head coach, his team qualified for 3 straight OBA tournaments and walked away third in two of those tournaments. As a teacher, he believes that players thrive in positive environments where they are supported, encouraged and challenged. He’s looking forward to the upcoming season with the Terriers.
