Let’s take a look back and see who stood out.

Pinkney picked for AAC Honour Roll

Catcher Hugh Pinkney pounded out seven hits, walked three times, drove in eight and was hit by a pitch in five games for Tulane University. He swatted a grand slam to give his team the lead for good in a 7-5 Game 1 victory over Rice. For his play, he was named to the American Athletic Conference Honour Roll.

Chee-Aloy gets on base

Cameron Chee-Aloy collected seven hits, walked five times and drove in five for the University of Illinois. He went 3-for-5 with two RBI in a Game 2 win over Maryland, a series the Illini would sweep.

Pilots maintain perfect record

The LSU Shreveport Pilots are now 37-0 after four wins last week. Austin Gomm had six hits and drove in four. He hit a solo shot in a Game 2 win over Texas A&M Texarkana.

Green homers twice, Hammill finds his way on for Niagara

Jason Green produced six hits, a walk and nine RBI in Niagara University’s three-game series against Quinnipiac. In Game 2, he belted a three-run home run and a grand slam en route to an eight RBI game.

Teammate Elijha Hammill chipped in two hits, walked three times, stole two bases and was hit by two pitches.

It wasn’t enough though as the Purple Eagles were swept.

Kwinter wins, secures series victory

Russell Kwinter worked 5.1 innings and allowed an unearned run on three hits to lead the University of Chicago to a 2-1 win in Game 4 of their series with Washington University. The southpaw struck out five. The performances helped his team take the series 3-1.

Cote drives in a pair

Josh Cote had two RBI and was hit by a pitch in the University of Toledo’s midweek loss to Youngstown State.
