With another week of the college baseball season now complete, it’s time to take a look at how
former Ontario Terriers fared.
Pilots improve to 44-0
Austin Gomm had five hits, including a three-run home run, four walks, seven RBI and a stolen
base for NAIA No. 1 LSU Shreveport as they went 4-0. The Pilots now own a 44-0 record.
Green, Hammill help Niagara to 3-1 week
Niagara University took three of a possible four games on their schedule.
Jason Green chipped in two hits, four walks and a RBI.
Elijha Hammill walked four times and stole a pair of bases.
Kwinter picks up win No. 6
Left-hander Russell Kwinter tossed five innings and allowed four runs on nine hits and a walk in
a 14-4 University of Chicago victory over Emory. He fanned a pair and improved to 6-0.
Chee-Aloy with four hits
Cameron Chee-Aloy had four hits, walked and was hit by a pitch in four games for the University
of Illinois.
Pinkney homers
Hugh Pinkney hit a solo home run and finished the week with five hits for Tulane. He also drove
in five but the Green Wave won just one of four.
