Gomm helps LSU Shreveport win RRAC
Austin Gomm collected six hits, walked three times, drove in eight and stole a base to lead No. 1 LSU Shreveport to the Red River Athletic Conference tournament championship. He hit two, two-run home runs, including one in the final. The Pilots are now 51-0.
O’Hearn belts first two college homers
Keegan O’Hearn had himself a series for Michigan against rival Ohio State. He hit his first two college home runs, both two-run shots, in Game’s 2 and 3. He totalled four hits, three walks, seven RBI and was hit by a pitch in the Wolverines three-game sweep.
Green hits grand slam, Hammill has a hit for Niagara
Jason Green went 2-for-5 with a grand slam in Niagara University’s 8-3 Game 1 win over Merrimack. He then had a hit in Game 3.
Elijha Hammill chipped in a hit in Game 1.
Chee-Aloy goes deep twice
Outfielder Cameron Chee-Aloy hit a three-run home run in Game 1 and a solo shot in Game 2 of Illinois’ series against Rutgers. Over the three games, he had three hits, five walks, four RBI and was hit by a pitch.
Cote gets on
Josh Cote walked three times, was hit by a pair of pitches and drove in two runs in two games for the University of Toledo.
Pinkney keeps hitting
Tulane University’s Hugh Pinkney stroked three hits, walked four times and drove in a run in four games.
