The Terriers have named five recipients of the 2024 John Jepson Award.
The award, named in honour of the late long-time Terriers executive, is handed out annually to the player at each age group that best represents the qualities John looked for in a player, which included generosity of spirit, being a great teammate, sportsmanship, dedication to improvement and academic achievement.
14U Development: OF/RHP Hudson Patterson
What head coach James DiFlorio had to say:
Hudson demonstrated the qualities of being a competitor and leader on his team, which improved the environment for not only himself but for his teammates. His generosity contributed to his team’s dedication to improve each day. Not only did he directly affect his teammates on and off the field, but he also showed tremendous sportsmanship towards his opponents and the officials of the game.
14U: C/INF Jerome Riopelle

15U: C Jack Hatton

Jack is the kind of person every organization, coach and player wants to be associated with. His determination, leadership and selfless attitude endear him to his teammates. Jack can be counted on to always give his best effort during games, at practices and while training outside of team events. He has a competitive nature that shines through in big moments and games, often producing his best play when it matters most. Throughout, he demonstrates a positive spirit, sportsmanship and a dedication to his teammates and coaches that does not go unnoticed. Most impressive is the consistency Jack has displayed as a player and person over the course of his playing career and it’s a pleasure to name him the 2024 Terriers 15U John Jepson Award winner.

Noah was a leader of our team last season. He did everything that was asked of him on and off the field and truly represented what this award means all year long.
