A member of the Ontario Terriers, an expansion team for the 2021 season, and one of the younger players at the CPBL All-Star Showcase in September, Cameron Chee-Aloy made his presence in the league known immediately.
Chee-Aloy was one of seven attendees at the All-Star Showcase who were born in 2004, but his performance didn’t indicate it. He went 6/11, hit two home runs, patrolled centerfield well, and was named the Most Valuable Player.
The right-handed hitting outfielder noted, “winning MVP means a lot to me, and I’m really fortunate to win this award. Especially now with this award, I feel like I proved to myself and everyone in this new league that I can compete in the highest level of baseball in the province.”
